

Toronto, Ontario - Representatives of the Acme Slate Superbike Team have excitedly announced their current line up for the 2008 racing season.
Vaughan, Ontario's Frank Trombino will fly the Acme Slate banner in 2008 aboard Yamaha R6's and R1 Superbikes in co-operation with Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. The current R.A.C.E. Superbike Champion will defend his number 1 plate as well as challenge Canada's best in the Yoshimura Pro 600 Sport Bike and Parts Canada Pro Superbike National Championships.
Acme Slate will also be partnering with Golo Racing's Rahul Dua who will be challenging for the International Motorcycle Supershow AM600 national and R.A.C.E. Superseries AM600 and AM Superbike Championships. Dua, hailing from Brampton, Ontario, will be riding Suzuki GSXR600's and GSXR1000's in co-operation with Hillcrest Suzuki.
Acme Slate Superbike Team original and Parts Canada Superbike professional regular Craig Atkinson will pull double duties in 2008. Reluctantly semi-retired from competition, Atkinson will assume team manager duties at Acme Slate, while also working closely with Rahul Dua as Crew Chief for the promising young racer, who Atkinson describes as "extremely focused and determined...he's now at his peak of health, and he's really got his stuff together this year...it's very clear that he means business."
When asked about Trombino, Acme Slate Company Inc. owner, Steve Wright simply stated, "Frank has been a Canadian National Champion before...he is, without a doubt, entirely capable of doing it again."
